About Wirtz Orthodontics

Dr. Wirtz received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors in 1978 from Marquette University in Milwaukee. He went on to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loyola University/Chicago in 1982. He continued his graduate education at Loyola, completed a two-year post-graduate program and received a Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics in 1984.

Dr. Wirtz went into private practice when he opened his Oak Forest Doors in August 1984 and he's been welcoming and treating patients with his honest and friendly approach ever since.

Dr. Wirtz and his wife Cindy have been married for 29 years and have raised five children together. They live in the family-friendly neighborhood of Beverly on Chicago's southwest side. They are active parishioners of Saint Barnabas where Cindy also works.

Dr. Wirtz generously donates his time and services to The AAO Donated Orthodontic Services Program, which helps underprivileged kids gain access to orthodontic treatment.
